What to Bring
Personal Equipment & Clothing Suggestions

Weight Limit: 30-35 lbs. (packed in duffel bag)

Special Considerations:
1: Temperature may range between 85 degrees during the day to 30 degrees at night. With warm summer weather, think of layering your clothing. Keep this in mind when packing your clothing.
2: Foot gear should be well broken in, comfortable to wear, above ankle height and waterproof. Vibram sole shoes or boots are not recommended for riding.

Sleeping Equipment:
-- One lightweight waterproof type sheet for moisture bearer
-- One sleeping bag: rated at least to 20 degrees (Hollo-filled preferred)
-- Optional: blanket liner if you feel your sleeping bag is not adequate for frosty nights
-- One sleeping pad: ThermaRest pad is the best. We have 1 - 1” poly foam pads available upon request

Foot Gear:
-- One pair hiking boots if you plan on any hiking
-- One pair riding boots with a heel of 1" or more in height, without lug soles, are the best
-- One pair overshoes or lightweight "tote" boots for rainy days
-- One pair camp moccasins or tennis shoes for camp wear and evening

Special Note:
The total weight of your duffel bag and bed roll must be limited to 35 pounds or under. Travel light and enjoy the trip. Pack your belongings in a stout duffel bag (army surplus duffel bags are best) and mark the bag clearly with your name and address.
Please, no firearms or portable radios!
